Chief Financial Officer

They are actively looking to bring on board a commercially minded and entrepreneurial CFO to partner with the CEO and Board to deliver on future initiatives, drive further profitability and stronger returns for shareholders. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced executive with 10-15 years commercial experience encompassing Finance & Accounting, M&A and Corporate Development. This is an exciting and varied role that will have you involved in a range of strategy, operations, accounting & finance, reporting, investor relations, planning, corporate development and special projects. Working as part of a small but highly effective and hands on leadership team, it is expected that you will be comfortable working across all aspects of the business and be able to work with and influence a range of stakeholders. The ideal candidate will most likely be a Chartered Accountant and will have previous experience in the Oil, Gas and/or Resources industry. You will have gained 10 – 15 years of experience with a mix of commercial finance and corporate development gained either directly in industry or from an Investment Banking and/or Advisory firm. You will bring excellent technical skills, a passion for the industry, a strong ‘can-do’ attitude and a genuine commercial understanding about what drives value in a business and a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
