Role and Responsibilities: We are seeking a motivated Finance Director to work at our Dubai office. The Finance Director will be responsible for financial management and compliance obligations for the Dubai company. The role will work closely with the senior management team in the Dubai office and will report through to the group CFO based in Australia. The key responsibilities include: 1) Primary: Credit Control · Proactively managing and collecting debts from company debtors including advising management on steps to take to recover payment arrears · Establishing invoicing and payment approval processes with new clients to ensure timely payments for duration of contract terms · Assessing new credit requests and reviewing customers’ credit ratings · Implementing processes to reduce EP&T’s credit risk exposure · Setting up of terms and conditions of credit · Ensuring timely payment of debts · Review debt recovery procedures and advise management · Following up payments as needed · Negotiating repayment plans, and re-negotiating these if required · Resolving queries both internally and externally around payments and outstanding invoices · Processing payments and reconciliation of invoices · Checking and posting of receipts to accounting systems · Preparing statements, client status reports and other relevant information as required 2) Other responsibilities including but not limited to: · Identifies and manages risk · Monitors and applies relevant legislation, policies and procedures · Contribute to commercial decision making process for the Middle East region business, supported by data and analysis · Manage contractor pricing · Manage all non EP&T product purchase pricing · Monitor financial performance, identify opportunities to improve performance and report to CFO · Ad hoc projects as directed by the group CFO Qualifications: · Chartered Accountant or CPA with at least 12+ years of relevant experience · Bachelor of Finance, Accounting or related disciplines. Key skills: · Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients · Strong attention to detail, be highly organised and have the ability to reconcile complex contracts · Ability to work both independently and collaboratively With an immediate start available this position is best suited to someone who poses gravitas, is driven and wanting an exciting opportunity.
