Job Description : Cost accountant - Kano, Nigeria Total Vacancy : 1 Keywords : Cost Accountant, Costing, Production Costing, Production Improvement, ERP System, Tally, MIS, Inventory, Internal Audits Functional Area : Accounts / Finance / Tax / CS / Audit Location : Kano, Nigeria Qualification : CMA/ CA Experience : Min 8 Years Job Description : Product Costing Developing cost standards for materials and labor Designing and implementing cost accounting systems Maintenance of the cost accounting systems and cost ledgers Analyzing production costs and recommending changes Overseeing annual physical inventory Analyzing inventory valuations Hiring, training and supervising cost and inventory accounting staff Developing an MIS that monitors Company performance on a monthly, quarterly, 6- monthly and annual basis. Performing life cycle cost-benefit analysis Overseeing of production reports Overseeing of raw material reconciliation, work-in-progress and finished-goods stocks on ground Should be able to conduct internal company audits Should be highly proficient in Tally and Excel Should be proficient in English Should have good communication skills This is a customer facing role. The candidate should be comfortable with attending to customers.
