Regional Sourcing Manager

Job Description : REGIONAL SOURCING MANAGER VIETNAM The Regional Sourcing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing regional strategic sourcing plans to ensure business objectives are met, as well as providing regional sourcing support for global subsidiaries. These responsibilities include assessing current end-to-end sourcing operations, implementing process improvements to ensure value-add and aligned sourcing activity, supplier relationship management, negotiations, new supplier and materials development, risk mitigation and building strong/supportive relationships with internal global stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: · Drive local/regional strategic supplier initiatives including supplier selection, development, consolidation and platforming methodology · Work closely with all subsidiaries to understand the priorities, timing and strategy of key business requirements. Optimise regional supplier capabilities and relationships in support of global sourcing needs · Apply disciplined sourcing approaches/tools where appropriate (7-step strategic sourcing process, RFI, RFP, category management, supplier relationship management, etc) · Develop and implement standardised, meaningful analytics supported by credible data (supplier performance, commodity market fluxations, TCO, etc) · Provide mentorship/leadership of local sourcing resources where appropriate · Lead cross-functional sourcing projects utilising strong project management, people and report out skills To succeed in this role, you must have strong project management skills. Key Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain or other related disciplines · Minimum -10 years sourcing and supplier management experience with at least three to five years of global sourcing experience. Experience in a lean, consumer packaged goods manufacturing environment preferred · Knowledge of lean manufacturing, supplier audit processes and CPI methodology
