Senior Trader

Job Description : LNG Senior /Head Trader, Origination, Physical. Location; UAE – Dubai: We are currently working on an exciting opportunity with a leading energy trading company, with offices in Dubai, who are looking to add a senior / head LNG trader to their business to facilitate its expansion. The main focus will be to develop spot and mid-term LNG trading opportunities and drive business development opportunities across the region. Responsibilities · Develop spot and mid-term LNG trading opportunities · Manage origination & trading of LNG as per downstream requirements, full supply chain activity and sales to clients as well as end to end contract execution · Create, develop and implement LNG trading strategies regularly and improvise to accommodate changes in the market and company’s LNG portfolio. · Develop and maintain strong relationship with external parties and explore new trading business opportunities · Establish and foster strong relationship with downstream customers · Manage, negotiate, review and execute LNG contracts, i.e. MSAs, CNs, Key Terms, HOAs, SPAs · Oversee and manage specific derivatives hedging activities / plan of LNG Cargoes. · Full accountability or the profit and loss of the international LNG trading business · Tabulate the provision of economic calculation/analysis to identify value and minimize risks · Work closely with the operation team to ensure smooth implementation of the contracts · Strict adherence to compliance on company risk management policies and procedures and maintain highest standard of safety and ethics · Preparation of internal analytical reports for management reviews · Directs, manage lead the team by providing leadership and encouraging teamwork to achieve high performance standards ?Requirements · Proven track record in providing value and mitigation of commercial risks to LNG trading · Experience and familiar with China LNG industry network and market development · Minimum 8-12+ years of working experience in LNG trading business is required for this position · Maintains a high level of confidentiality · Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and proficient at working with individuals from diverse background · Excellent organizational & teamwork skill and the ability to prioritize · Outstanding attention to detail and ability to multi-task · Proficient at adapting quickly to changing situations · Able to travel overseas for business meetings (post stabilization of COVID-19 outbreaks) · Highly numerate, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build long term sustainable relationships
