Job Description : Head Operations Location: Benin & IVC Reporting: Business: PCH - Agri Supply Chain About the Role : - Head Operations will be responsible for Procurement & backward Integration, Supply Chain & Logistics of Agri Commodities, Channel management and Revenue Generation & Profitability - Will manage overall procurement and operations for diverse range of commodities achieving targets across the region dealing with stakeholders and traders - Developing the entire supply chain for the commodities from the farm gate to the export destinations. - Developing a good network for procurement from farmers / traders / Govt. Agencies to ensure procurement of commodities at lowest landed cost. Also understand the interplay between the various models to have effective and efficient procurement. - Forecasting procurement opportunities by analyzing market and competitors regularly aiming at achieving best possible revenues for diverse commodities. - Exceed revenue objectives while continuously creating and cultivating opportunities for revenue generation in a positive and professional manner achieving assigned targets by developing and maintaining quality business relationship with prospective and existing partners. - Designing & implementing Agri commodities procurement plans to realize ambitious volume and profitability objectives while achieving continuous growth - Strengthen network in the regional Africa market About the Person : - Master's degree in Procurement/ Business Administration/ Supply Chain - Minimum 13-15 years of experience in sourcing and/ or operations - Experience in Agri commodity is ideal - Demonstrated success in leading a large team. - Demonstrated success in risk management, responsible sourcing, and supplier management - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - with the ability to influence and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders (internal and external) - Strong analytical skills to be able to manage a high degree of complexity in the operations - Understanding of National and International Procurement Regulations - Fluency in English is a must. Fluency in French will be an asset - Understanding of SAP and Microsoft Office is crucial for success in this role
