Job Description : Head of Demand Creation Location: Kenya Experience: Minimum 18 Years working experience with minimum 10 years into FMCG Industries. JOB Responsibilities : 1. Participate in strategic and business planning processes for the company to provide thought leadership on portfolio management of the Company brands and products. 2. Owner for the P&L for the whole company, charged with the review and management of the P&L for all the product lines and customers. 3. Leads and directs the demand creation function by setting clear objectives in order to maximize individual and departmental performance. Ensure systems and procedures necessary to the smooth operation of the department are put in place. 4. Develop timely plans and budgets for the department and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance. 5. Lead and direct the Demand Creation strategy. Monitor the effectiveness of the strategy to ensure on course achievement of target and advise on changes to mitigate challenges experienced from time to time. 6. Develop comprehensive outbound consumer lifecycle marketing programs to increase customer acquisition and retain legacy customers. 7. Demand Creation Process Owner working closely with key cross-functional teams to ensure alignment against business priorities, campaign structure etc. 8. Measure the effectiveness of the product management strategies and plans, identifies gaps, and puts in place remedial actions. 9. Oversight to product management for the full range of Company products, maintain and assess core demand creation and product opportunities to proactively determine how to develop brand positioning and drive demand for legacy and new-to-market products. 10. Manage measurement of all marketing campaigns and analyze traffic, lead generation, and sales activity to ensure we hit campaign targets and achieve Return on Investment (ROI). 11. Proactively review campaign metrics to determine what is working and what can be improved or optimized for all demand creation programs. 12. Lead the continual analysis of market trends and the positioning of competitors by drilling down into data around customer behaviour and experiences as a foundation for marketing strategies. 13. Identify and develop new market opportunities for the company’s product portfolio by continually reviewing changes to the market, consumer trends and the activities of competitors, adjusting the plans as necessary. 14. Work in liaison with the Head of Demand Fulfilment to develop pricing strategies to maximize profits and market share while balancing customer satisfaction. 15. Lead and manage the team. Maintain a climate that attracts, retains and motivates top quality personnel. Recruit, train, appraise, supervise, support, develop, promote and guide qualified staff.
