General Manager

Job Description : GM QATAR FOR ENERGY globally established business within the Environmental sector who are looking to hire for an experienced General Manager to oversee day to day operations and also focus on the commercial aspect of the business - you must have experience of a blended commercial and operational management position. Job Overview Reporting into the Global VP of Growth, you will lead in country operations and grow market share whilst sharing best practise from an operational perspective and shape the long term future of the business within Qatar. Key Responsibilities: · Develop and implement growth and marketing strategies · Improve lead generation to revenue · Evaluate performance and productivity · Research and identify growth opportunities · Manage change with business integration · Implement lean methods (not essential) · Functional reporting - build strong relationships across the organisation · Recommend new service offerings into the market The ideal candidates’ experience, knowledge and background will include: · Minimum of 10 years of experience within a General Management capacity · Extensive Qatar In country experience · Good Qatar network - both Government and Commercial · Experience of leading and managing both operations and commercial functions · Strong background within either Water, Waste, Energy/ Oil & Gas · Degree qualified · Arabic speaking is advantageous
