Job Description : HEAD BDM AFRICA In conjunction with Top Management Team, develop Objectives, discuss and determine targets and Strategies in support of overall Company business development goals, in all projects assigned. Prepare and execute business development action plan for specific targets Secure new sources of viable business for the Company across Africa, but without losing focus in the existing markets such as in countries; DRC, Congo, Benin, Mali, Burkina Faso & Ivory Coast. Prepare feasibility report with justification on all the new businesses proposed to substantiate viability of such products into Africa with shelf-life. Promote and maintain a high level of visibility for the Company's services and brand. Provide ongoing high-grade Commercial Intelligence to Company's Strategic decision makers. Maintain Commercial direction via a Strategic Sales Plan. Maintain high level relationship with the Company's existing customers and partners. Meet Customer needs and provide advice, Planning, etc. to prospective and current customers. Lead a small team of Business Development Managers. Define Sub-ordinates functions, responsibilities and power to act. Prepare Periodic Business and Commercial Intelligence reports for the Management as agreed, be it Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Bi-Yearly or Yearly. Required Candidate profile A Graduate or Post Graduate in Marketing & Sales with minimum of 20 years of experience, out of which minimum 10 years in Africa, and working experience in Francophone countries is most preferred. Good financial understanding High energy, drive and interest in taking on new tasks Sound Commercial awareness Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure Possess empathy, personal tact, cultural understanding, and strong communication skills, as well as a passion for success. French language skills are must for this role Willingness to travel of a minimum of 120 days within Africa on Business development & Customer relationship management. Possess strong personal business ethics and a high degree of integrity.
