Plant Manager

Job Description : PLANT HEAD NIGERIA FOR CORRUGATION Minimum of 10 to 15 years in project execution and manufacturing experience in a Corrugated factory .(MUST HAVE) Responsible for implementing the start-up of new corrugation factory along with all functional area. Should have a strong project execution skill. Once established, the role will entail the management of the production function and ensure it is running as effective and efficient as possible. Key roles will involve Project planning and execution, Production, planning, Maintenance and safety. Project planning and execution Planning and execution of entire corrugation factory which includes corrugation machine, finishing line, waste management, Boiler, Utilities, Quality systems and Designing section. Knowledge of Layout designing, Piping, Cabling etc. Well versed with material flow and Civil construction processes: Foundation, Flooring, Interior & Office Finishing work. Knowledge of Equipment Installation, Commissioning , Trials Production Planning Responsible for reviewing existing production schedules and prioritizing job based on resources, current methods and company requirements. Estimating production cost and implements cost-saving methods for effective production. Production Responsible for ensuring that the Facilities and Machinery in the Factory run to their maximum efficiency and output. The role includes achieving set targets for each machines, keeping the floor and machines neat and clean, making all production related documents, Reducing breakdowns, floor management and Cost reduction. People management will be a key responsibility. Lead the Factory Production function, executing the plans given by the planner. Responsible for planning, scheduling and overseeing the adherence and timely completion of the plan Increase Operational effectiveness, reduce down times on the machine, maintaining the quality parameters, Manage and execute improvement and cost reduction plans. Adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental regulations Establish SOPs, implement continuous improvement plans through training, good work practices and processes Maintenance Preparing Maintenance plan for all machines of a corrugation factory. The machines include BHS Steady line, Flexo Printer, Die cutting and FFG. You should be responsible for implementing the Preventive maintenance and attending breakdowns. Advisory Capacity Advises management about product specifications, plant capabilities, and provides updates on issues related to the plant’s machinery. The Production Engineer also keeps customers and management up-to-date on the status of projects in the plant.. SKills Required Technical degree in an Engineering or Technical discipline. Ideally experience and knowledge of use of BHS corrugation machine with all finishing lines. Experience of implementing such project in the past. Proven track record in managing, leading and developing a large team of people. A traceable track record of continuous improvement projects and increasing efficiency and productivity in a plant. Excellent people manager with strong organisational, planning and communication skills. 10) CHIEF ACCOUNTANT KSA Qualified Chartered Accountant for one of our largest Steel Fabricating Company - Geyad For Industry and Contracting Company Ltd which is located in Al Khobar - KSA https://www.geyad.com/ Maximum 5 years of experience in the Manufacturing Sector preferably Steel. 1) Overall in charge of maintenance of accounts, finance and costing. 2) To assist, guide, supervise and control the work of accountants / cashier. 3) Responsible for preparation and timely submission of monthly management report. 4) Prepare accounts as per IFRS guidelines 5) Responsible for preparation of annual reports and liaison with auditors. 6) Responsible for finalization of zakat return and filing of returns. 7) Responsible for finalization of VAT return and filing of returns 8) To liaison with banks and conduct bank trade finance documentation and estimate facility requirements and apply to bank for facilities in consultation with management. 9) Receivables management including sales invoicing and submission and receivables follow up. 10) Payables management including processing of supplier invoices and processing of cheques and timely payment of payables. 11) Cash management and preparation and submission of cash flow statements and projected cash flow statements. 12) Preparation and submission of annual budget in coordination with various Depts. 13) To maintain confidentiality of accounting data and reports. 14) To maintain accounting control system to safeguard assets of the company and to continuously review and analyze accounting data and provide analytical reports the management requires from time to time. 15) Fixed assets management, control and reporting 16) Inventory analysis, control and reporting. 17) Involve in major procurement & Negotiate with main vendors to secure the best deal. 18) Monitor the budget job wise VS estimated price and submit monthly report to top management. 19) Monitor the overall cost and submit quarterly report to top management with suggestions. 20) Review the inventory materials movement & submit quarterly reports for top management review.
