Group Financial Controller

Job Description : GROUP FC BAHRAIN JOB DESCRIPTION Behbehani Brothers Company W.L.L. is searching for an experienced accountant to take on the role of Group Financial Controller. This position, reporting to General Manager Motor Division is accountable for leading the Finance team in managing the Company’s financial and accounting policies, systems and processes, tax and regulatory requirements and processes and Company controls, ongoing financial modelling and annual business plan. Provide leadership and coaching to the Finance Team. Responsibilities · Work closely with the General Managers, the executive team to ensure all their financial and accounting needs are met and relevant analysis is performed. · Lead, mentor and coach accounting team, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing of work, ensuring quality standards are met. · Drive continuous communication with General Managers. · Attend and present relevant content and information at group and leadership meetings. · Support associates with all GGM requests and projects to ensure timely and accurate implementation and execution. · Prepare the financial section of the annual report. Oversee the Cash Management function, including banking relationships. · Ensure the Company is in compliance with all internal policies and relevant regulations and ensure filings are completed in a timely manner. · Oversee the continuous improvement of Accounting and Financial Processes and the development of the team with the goal to achieve best practices and optimal output. Qualifications · Middle East experience. · Automotive experience or 10 years of relevant work experience, preferred. · Master’s Degree in accounting or similar field · Results-driven and career focused individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong decision maker.
