Material Management Head

Job Description : APAC CATEGORY MANAGER RAW MATERIALS, MALAYSIA Do you want to be part of a multinational food company developing one of the best Procurement teams in APAC? You will have the chance to learn a lot from senior stakeholders here and lead your category for a uniquely large region. This role will allow you to develop the critical skills all our top clients are asking for. You need experience in the assigned category which is raw materials/food ingredients. You must be comfortable working individually while managing senior stakeholders across the whole business in the region. Your main focus would be to optimise the current supplier network, price negotiation and really take ownership of your area of this critical category – so if you enjoy the strategic aspects of category management then this could be great for you. You will manage large SKU numbers and suppliers across the whole region in APAC – it is a very complex category. You wont be doing it alone though, as well as support from line management you would have 3 peers working in the same space.
