Country Manager

Job Description : COUNTRY MANAGER MALAYSIA FOR FOOD PACKAGING A global leader in food packaging is currently recruiting Country Manager (Food Packaging) job. This is a role for a talented candidate to lead and grow the business in Malaysia. About the Country Manager (Food Packaging) Role: In this business critical role, you will manage and develop the entire Malaysia business with key focus on growth and expansion. You will also lead the business operations across sales, technical service and administration. Key Responsibilities: · Plan and propose the annual budget plan and regularly review performance of the business · Develop and execute short- and long-term business plans that aligns commercial strategies and operations · Lead, support and/or coach the sales team to identify and acquire growth opportunities at key accounts in core markets and in new business development · Develop strong business relationships with new customers to expand the business and market share · Conduct regular reviews with managers and individuals where appropriate · Establish and build personal relationships with key management individuals of customers, suppliers and industry players · Provide leadership to each functional department manager and the entire organisation The successful Country Manager (Food Packaging) must have prior experience in managing an overall business preferably in the food packaging industry or related. Track record in developing a small multinational set up into a successful business is highly advantageous. Key Requirements: · At least a degree or higher in Business Management/Engineering or related · Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a Business Management leadership role within the food packaging industry · At least three years in general management or country management · Experience in related packaging industries, food ingredients or chemical industries will be considered · Proven track record in building a high-performance organisation and in driving profitable growth · Driven, entrepreneurial, commercial minded and results-oriented · Passionate to develop a growing business
