Finance Controller

Job Description : FINANCE CONTROLLER UGANDA Experience : 8-10 Years in Manufacturing/ Construction Applicants should have exposure/competence in the following: Successful resolution of account related issues/complaints in a timely and professional way. Organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines without fail, should be result oriented person. Provide input into department's goal setting process and preparation of budget. Assists in preparation of monthly management report and accompanying schedules, including "Budget vs. Actual" variance reports. Independently preparation of Financials - Management Accounts (P&L & BS), Cash flow, ratio analysis Should be well versed with costing, cost control, stock taking and analysis, internal controls, audits, credit management. Candidate should have experience of handling statutory bodies, statutory compliance, audit, team handling, liaising & coordination Candidate will be expected to work with minimal up-front guidance and take ownership of his / her work product. He will work closely with all major functional leaders of the Company. He should be able to prepare various reports as & when asked by the management. Exposure to Import/Export documentation & clearance of goods Candidate should be well versed with general hard core accounting (day to day accounts activities) To train and motivate junior team for smooth account department activities. Should be self-confident with analytical mind who believes in perfection. Multi tasking Communication and interpersonal skills. Hardworking & self-motivatednature. Required Qualification: A minimum of 8-10 years of experience with at least 3-4 years' experience on similar position. Chartered Accountant/ ICWA /CA inter / Master or Bachelor's Degree in Commerce Proficiency in IT & should have knowledge of ERP.Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook. Age 30-35 years. Preferred having experience in manufacturing industry. Africa working experience is preferable. Qualification : Graduate + CA + ICWAI
