Operations Head

Job Description : OPERATIONS HEAD BANGLADESH · Should possess 20+ years of experience in Dual Fuel Combined Plant as Operation department specialist · Must have worked in Dual Fuel Combined Cycle Plant with above 200 MW capacity · Must be working as Operations Manager for 2+ years in Dual Fuel Combined Power Plant · Should have through knowledge in Gas Turbine 6F03 model · Working experience in Ansaldo make Boiler is essential · Expert in overall Plant Operation skills · Should have a sound knowledge on Dual Fuel Based power plants · Must be an Engineering BE/B.Tech Graduate in Mechanical /Electrical Engineering Desired Candidate Profile · Preparation of the Annual operating plan and budget for the operation department. · Prepare the department targets and monitor the performance review on a quarterly basis. · Handling emergency arising during plant operation and perform the role of the incident controller. · Monitoring plant performance and prepare MIS for the top management on daily, monthly and annual basis. · Coordination with National Grid on day-to-day basis and prepare reports as per the formats and communicate the operating schedule as per PPA. · Preparation of fuel requirement projections on daily and annual basis and communicating the same to the fuel suppliers as per fuel supply and transportation agreements · Certification of fuel and energy bills. · Preparation and communication of plant performance data to relevant external agencies as per the statutory and legal compliance. · Perform the PTW audit on a quarterly basis. · Discussing plant status and defects in daily morning meeting and appraise the plant head and co-ordinate with maintenance heads. · Co-ordination and planning of maintenance jobs during shut down with maintenance department heads. · Review of incidents and co-ordination of trip committee meeting and tracking committee recommendations. · Preparation of training needs for the operation department and nomination of department personal for external training. · Preparation of shift schedules and man power management and raising requisition of manpower as per requirement. · Responsible for ensuring compliance to legal and other requirements for plant operations. · Responsible for maintaining water and steam quality and leading Plant chemistry team
