Job Description : DIRECTOR OF DEMAND AND SUPPLY UAE for an exciting B2B marketplace start-up based in Dubai. Location – Dubai, UAE Salary – 25,000 AED/month (salary increase and stock options will be available after launch) Skills and experience · Sales experience in HORECA or FMCG in UAE; Markteplace and Business Development experience is a plus · Experience in Marketing and exposure to the retail/distribution/procurement process of fresh food · Previous management experience with direct reports · A deep understanding of the fresh produce landscape in the UAE with a passion for digital disruption · Ability and willingness to operate at all levels, both strategic (consultant approach to problem solving) and operational – roll sleeves up with field visits and meetings · Arabic speaker is desirable Key Responsibilities: · Develop the Demand strategy and support in achieving the aggressive launch plan for the marketplace · Build and manage a core team to drive sales, marketing and customer care operations and targets · Work cross-functionally and provide Demand inputs and insights · Acquire, engage and retain customers, ensuring aggressive growth is maintained · Forecast growth in accounts, GMV and other demand side metrics and coordinate with Supply and Tech teams to ensure alignment on customer success This is an URGENT requirement and would require someone to be able to start ASAP or within 2 weeks.
