Job Description : 5) EPC - Project Controls Manager China Petroleum Engineering & Abu Dhabi, UAE Construction Corporation Project Controls Manager shall be responsible for the organization and management of Project Control functions including Planning. Scheduling. Schedule Risks, Cost Estimation & Control. EOT Claims. Document Control for the Project. Reports to Project Manager and functionally to Corporate Marketing & Proposals Department Manager, further brief responsilbities are mentioned as below: • Plan, manage. organize. control and drive the Project Control functions for the Project by working closely with Project Manager, Project Management Team and Corporate Department to ensure that corporate policies and procedures are adhered in Project. • As per Project Scope of Work. identify resources required to manage and control the Project Control functions, prepare organization and assign functions / responsilbities in an integrated way that Project Controls objectives are achieved with minimum resources. Provide leadership. coaching and training opportunity to Project Control team. set up specific KPI's for team and establish the culture of trust. knowledge / responsibility sharing, and realization of joint responsibility within team to meet the Project Controls challenges. • Actively participate internal and with Client in Projects regular, weekly. bi-weekly and monthly joint and individual meetings [Engineering, Procurement & Construction] and provide Project Control strength to Project Management. Liaison with Client focal point, vendors and subcontractor's planning personnel for Project Control functions in order to ensure that Project constraints are managed and under control. • Manage and control the Planning, Scheduling, Schedule Risks, Cost Estimation & Control functions along with the team and provide leadership and coaching out of rich experience throughout the life cycle of Project. • Identify events, develop and actively participate in substantiation of the EOT claims, work closely with Project Contracts team and establish synergy between Project Control team and all other's concerned to establish the basis and manage the EOT claims. Jointly participate in meetings with Client / Subcontractors on EOT claims. • Manage Project Document Control function and establish the effective and efficient document control management system. SKILLS / QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE • Excellent knowledge of contracts, project planning, scheduling, schedule risks, project execution work processes. cost estimation & control. EOT, manufacturing processes for critical and major project equipment. Expert in Primavera. A team player who can resolve problems within his team and deliver best performance from individuals, by ensuring everyone is given the work and position where they can give their best. • Bachelor Degree in Engineering Discipline with experience on Surface Development Facilities Projects. Refineries, Gas Processing & Pipelines. Quantity Surveying knowledge & experience shall be advantage. • Candidate must have a experience from EPC Contractor on ADNOC Group companies Projects • More than 20 Years experience. at least 08 Years in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical Industry on major Projects as Project Controls Manager.
