Job Description : GM INDONESIA One of the largest building materials company in Indonesia is looking for General Manager (Sales).The General Manager is tasked to lead the entire organisation to drive revenue & project development of the company’s objectives for sales and future development. About the General Manager Role: Reporting directly to the Director, you will responsible for managing and overseeing all company sales and operations activities, and ensuring that all functions are performed in a timely with established operations procedures and requirements. This is a role for a high-calibre candidate to oversee the sales and operations of the achieve revenue and customer service goals, and ensure alignment of plans with the project segmentation. Key Responsibilities: · Establish an overall country strategy, implement and execute the plans to ensure business objectives are achieved · Manage the entire P&L of the company, including controlling multiple functions covering sales, marketing, operations, finance, and revenue/pricing strategy · Develop, implement, and monitor company budget; oversees the management of expenses within approved budget constraints · Conduct monthly review meetings to keep up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions · Deliver monthly targets of volume and value based on territory assigned · Work with relevant stakeholders to create a product road map for the region; to ensure that sales strategies and activities are integrated and aligned with the overall company objectives · Strengthen existing industry and customer relationships, while developing new relationships within both To succeed in this role, you must have excellent relationships with contractors, architects, or interior designers with a minimum of seven years of experience expanding distribution channels preferably in the interior and exterior construction industry. Key Requirements: · Must have a bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent with a minimum of 20 years of sales experience within building materials distribution channel relations management function · Exceptional in strategic thinking, analytical process, commercial acumen, key account management, business development, presentation and negotiation skills · Proven track record of achieving and/or exceeding sales targets, experienced in setting the structure of incentivised sales targets · Business and financial acumen – can understand and read a P&L, can structure and close profitable deals, understands financial drivers and how to leverage them in the deal development and closing process · Strong business sense with a good understanding of the markets, customers, and competitors · Strong leadership traits and interpersonal skills, experienced in managing a big team, and strong in people development · Strong written and communication skills, and fluent in English · Mandarin-speaking to be able to communicate well with regional and global counterparts is a plus · Results-driven, high initiative skills while able to work under pressure and multitask · Process-driven, structured, self-motivated, tactful with strategic thinking and analytical process, able to prioritise the tasks smartly
