Finance Controller

Job Description : FC DUBAI · Ensure the closing process across the business · Handle and review the group consolidation · Ensure the development of accurate financial statements, monthly reports, and local and statutory reports · Identify accounting improvement and work closely with the central team · Ensure all financial activities are carried out in compliance with group · Establish an effective working relationship with internal and external auditors to ensure that all recommendations are acted upon · Oversee the daily work of the team by providing guidance on work processes · Ensure optimum utilization of the ERP system (Oracle) · Perform other related duties or assignments as directed Requirements: · Must have a Bachelors in Accounting and Finance and should be a Qualified Chartered Account or CPA · Must have at least 10 years of relevant experience as a financial controller within a multinational along with Big 4 experience · Must have experience in a heavy industry (e.g: energy, construction, engineering) · Important to have excellent IFRS knowledge · Must be based in the UAE
