Job Description : SUPPLY CHAIN HEAD NIGERIA 15+ years experience a leading pharmaceutical retail company is looking to engage the expertise of a Supply chain professional who will be Responsible for the oversight of Procurement, Warehouse Management, Distribution $ Logistics and Fulfilment REQUIREMENTS Provide the require oversight for all the units under the division. Drive the implementation of the organizations strategy by covering procurement processes; develop systems of control, policies and procedures to drive compliance with set Company Procurement SOPs Achieve financial objectives guided by an annual budget, scheduling expenditure, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective action Ensure compliance with federal and state warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions. Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational policies and procedures. Ensure safeguarding of warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols. Manage purchasing information and systems, track and report key functional metrics of the unit to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. Identify and manage risk within the supply chain. Monitor and analyze current trends in the market place, keeping informed of advances in purchase technology and approaches and apply within the organization to improve the performance of the supply chain. Manage the procurement budget process; ensuring effective cost control and a culture of long-term saving on procurement cost. Identify suppliers by comparing prices, specifications, payment terms and service delivery to determine the most profitable vendors and appropriate vendor selection to secure the most advantageous terms on behalf of the company. Negotiate & set-up supply contracts and determine supplier SLAs. Coordinate the procurement planning process including supply/demand forecasting, inventory management and on-time delivery. Supply branches in order to optimize inventory of the retail outlets Perform demand planning in order to optimize inventory at the distribution center by liaising with related internal and external customers as well as key suppliers of allotted business areas. Oversee the preparation of purchased orders and requisition. Prepare, maintain and review purchasing records, produce management reports, track status of requisitions, contracts and orders, approve supplier/vendor bills for payment. Oversee the respond to internal and external supplier enquires while reviewing requisition orders to verify accuracy, specifications and terminology. Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts, reconciling with data storage system. Complete procurement, warehousing, and logistics operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.
