20 yearsJob Description : Country Manager – India – Facilities Management The Firm: The group a family conglomerate who operate across global operations are looking to drive their new start up across India. With a solid reputation across FM & Security into the private and government sectors the Country Head will be the driving force winning new contracts and government tenders into new disciplines. The key focus will be FM, Environmental Services, Security, Catering, Pest control, Waste Management etc. The specification below is mandatory, it is written with purpose and reference to the specific profile we need to achieve our and our client’s goals. The requested experience is a prerequisite and will not be short-sighted or amended. Only persons who apply and who fit the full detailed criteria specified will be shortlisted and considered. Role Purpose: Provide strategic and commercial guidance and direction enabling the company to achieve missions and objectives within the FM and Environment space. Develop private and government relationships with key stakeholders to enhance market penetration, growth potential and new market capitalizations As strong track record of managing and winning bids into government and semi government sectors across India Develop sales framework, business plans and roadmaps as well as marketing campaigns to support sales growth and customer retention As strong P&L leader who can lead commercial and operations Develop market intelligence and insights; assess the groups vision and performance against the competitive landscape and the market potential across the sectors we specialize. Develop the country market strategy and its 5-year plan in line with groups vision. Work in close collaboration with the leadership teams and the CEO’s journey. Escalate risks and flaws and threats on the business and define action plans with the CEO Support country teams in delivering against their objectives, priorities and budgets, through the provision of guidance, and by seeking support from global and corporate teams and mediating across all involved teams Strategically work collectively with the team to define disruptive ideas within the sectors to build sustainable products and services Support implementation of global and local initiatives in country Commercial & Development Expectations: Represent groups interests in dealing with external stakeholders and 3rd parties, be it governmental bodies, JV partners, industry groups, business forums or in acting as company officers, to ensure the group best interests are represented consistent with statutory and regulatory requirements Directly be responsible for all country level communication strategies/plans/execution across all Public Relations platforms – internal and external and advise senior management regarding communications internally and externally, both strategic and tactical. Develop and prioritize PR events, such as tours for government officials, dignitaries and press events Develop and maintain strong relationships with key government and regulatory authorities to protect present and future business interests Lead, both the initiation and the response to, the Regional and Country Business Development opportunities to sustain and increase the groups growth plans, consistent with meeting margin objectives Lead internal and external resources in identifying, developing, and executing new and existing investment projects on a regional or country basis Work with global teams to develop the groups value proposition, in particular with global “Solutions and Innovation”, pricing, finance, and procurement Maintain project pipeline, including project screening and filtering, and ensure all opportunities are captured on Success Factor when rolled out in India Facilitate operations delivery and collections Have a solid understanding and plan of the market within the FM & Environmental services and what clients to attract and approach
