Chief Operating Officer

Job Description : COO SYDNEY With a history of growth across a variety of channels, including retail, ecommerce and wholesale, this successful leading luxury business has the opportunity for considerable growth in this market and internationally. The incoming COO will focus on omni channel innovation and operational excellence, the successful incumbent will have a strong base to build the next phase of this leading house of brand's growth agenda. Reporting to the CEO & the Board and leading a diverse high performing, cross-functional and established team, your primary focus will be setting the businesses operational strategic direction that will continue bottom line growth, whilst creating a robust and effective environment for delivery of business goals. You will play a hands on role, managing eCommerce & Loyalty, Retail Operations and Property, working closely with the brands, marketing, finance and operational teams to ensure a customer centric culture, along with identifying potential operational innovation and ROI. You will have exceptional influencing, leadership and key stakeholder management skills with a strong understanding of apparel retail and the team management skills to foster a culture of continuous improvement within your team. The successful candidate will be a commercially astute COO with proven experience managing global brands and proven results to deliver operational excellence. You will have a track history of managing and leading growth agendas for medium to large sized apparel omni-channel organisation. You will have a collaborative, hands-on leadership style with a strong understanding of how to run a P&L. General Managers from larger retail organisations will also be considered, however the successful candidate will have managed a digital focused omni channel business. Key to your success will be experience managing omni-channel operations leading to EBIT growth, delivering excellent customer service whilst fostering a dynamic continuous improvement culture.
