Job Description : CFO BRISBANE AUSTRALIA Successful commercial construction company based in the Gold Coast. Highly reputable business with a long-established history in QLD. Industry leading full-service construction from beginning to end across a portfolio of challenging projects with loyal customers. Now within a growth phase they are looking further afield in the development and continued success of the business. As a result they are now looking for an enthusiastic, driven and financially focussed CFO to take overall management and responsibility of the financial aspects of the company. About The Role As the CFO, you will take overall responsibility of the financial aspects of the business. Everything accounting related through to financial forecasting, cash flow, financial insight and even the creation of new financial tools to move the business forward with a strategic vision regarding its financial goals. You will have several people reporting to you and be the driving force in the business' financial & accounting responsibilities. Supported by the General Manager, you will have all the supporting foundations needed to ensure your financial and accounting skills are utilised with the freedom of a fully autonomous role. Requirements For This Role · Accounting qualification. · 20+ years experience managing and running accounting and financial responsibilities in a business. · Construction industry background (highly desirable) · Experience running own business (desirable but not mandatory) · Very strong understanding of Australian accounting and statutory obligations. · Have some experience in a leadership capacity. · Strong financial acumen relating to forecasting, cash flow etc. · Highly professional communication skills and ability liaise at all level internally and externally.
