Job Description : COMMERCIAL MARKETING MANAGER UAE FOR GRAINS established trading house, based in Dubai, who are seeking a self-motivated senior commercial marketing manager (grains) to join their growing operations. The successful candidate would be responsible for destination market development and client relationships covering Middle East, North and East Africa with key focus in Saudi Arabia. The role carries the responsibility of maintaining and expanding relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external. He/She should be working to provide profitable marketing solution and strategies in line with the business objectives, contribution to supply and demand analysis of destination as well as commercial know-how of destination country. He/She should have detailed knowledge about all aspects of the physical business covering logistics and contract terms. He/She will be responsible for client risk management together with the risk management team. He/She will be responsible for merchandising the commodity as well as network business operations across the region. This includes managing appropriate inbound supply chains from origin to destinations as well as price and quality risks associated with the commodity. In addition, this role leads the process to determine the quality, class and price that meet customer specifications. He/She acts as a partner in driving the organizational goals in providing high quality and safe products with exceptional services. Key Responsibilities; · Formulate and maintain destination market strategy covering Agri-commodities with a focus on food and feed grains. · Develop a business plan together with Trade teams for physical flows into defined destinations. · Formulate strategy on product lines and focus the underlying physical flows together with futures trades/hedges in coordination with trade team. · Support the marketing functions on pricing and price risk management to ensure fulfilment of the business plan. · Develop and maintain key customer base with a market friendly approach. · Identify and support new opportunities in Grains footprint including intra-regional trade. · Contribute to maintain a strong SND for destinations & contribute to central data-base of research / market intel. · Maintain and enhance the brand image of the company. · Communicating key business information, opportunities, risks etc. internally. · Provide accurate and timely market updates and demand predictions. Requirements · At least 10 – 12+ years of experience in the field of physical agri commodities with a medium to large size company with a focus on ME, North and East African Markets with special focus in Saudi Arabia. · A sound experience in Physical underlying trade while a clear understanding of trade and risk management tools · Strong wheat and feed grains commodity understanding. · Strong team player and willingness to operate/work within a “one” book PNL. · Good communication skills with the ability to “sell” ideas at all stake holders · Ability to react to market movements and respond to client / marketing needs. · Good judgement, an entrepreneurial spirit and skills are essential, Self-motivated. · Must have a good understanding, a strong customer base/access in defined regions. Must have a very sound understanding of the bulk shipment logistics (region and global), terms/conditions of the trade. · Must have a very sound understanding of the Import restrictions and/or requirements in the regional markets. · Must have a very good understanding of contract terms, commercial / customer risks in the region and customs of the trade. · Highly numerate & analytical, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build long term sustainable relationships · Currently based in / or willing to relocate to Dubai. · Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Agriculture, Milling Science, Ag-Economics, Ag-Business or related field required. · Any related course experience such as GAFTA, IAOM correspondence course would be a plus
