Job Description : COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR UAE Commercial Director to develop and execute the organisation's commercial long-term strategic agenda to help maximize profitability, drive growth and develop a highly engaged team to ensure the business enjoys continual and sustainable success. With full P&L responsibility, you will need to build further equity into the current brands but also unlocking new revenue streams by driving new products across the market. The Commercial Director will need to build a focused team to help them become a market-leading business. This is the start of an incredibly exciting transformation journey in the organisation, and it needs individuals who are motivated by this challenge who will roll their sleeves up help build the foundations and therefore adopt a founder’s mindset every day. With change comes resistance and therefore it requires an individual that will lead from the front and manage with agility. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES · Takes accountability for the sales performance of the business. Supporting the wider business to identify potential opportunities that can drive revenue growth · Define the objectives for the Commercial BU, aligned with the vision and mission of the business, and oversee the overall sales performance of the business to increase the company’s financial performance · Implement effective RTM models and develop clear measures/expectations for each channel and product in the current and future portfolio · Ensure the systems in place are constantly enhanced to ensure the right information is captured and analysed for the team to understand what “great” looks like · Proactively lead the Demand Planning process to help ensure forecasting is accurate and to ensure trends are constantly being considered to gain competitive advantage, wherever possible · Monitor the commercial performance of the business in correlation with the budget to optimize results · Constantly evaluate the talent within the business to ensure the right people are in the right positions. Where appropriate, train and develop employees to help them in achieving expectations. When required, and without hesitation, bring in new talent if it will lead to improved performance whilst maintain a positive culture within the team · Actively collaborate and partner with functional and market leadership across the organisation KEY INGREDIENTS · 12+ years of progressive experience in a Sales / Commercial role within the Food and Beverage Manufacturing Industry · Must have proven success in the UAE market across all key channels · Experienced managing a full P&L · Ability to build an effective organisational structure that can navigate through a transformation journey · Bachelor's Degree or MBA in a related discipline · Fluent in English, Arabic language is preferred.
