General Manager Finance

Job Description : GM FINANCE MALAYSIA A GM - Finance (Property Development) job has become available at a Malaysian public-listed property development company as a result of its transformation agenda and to meet market demands. About the GM - Finance (Property Development) Role: In this job, you will play an integral role in driving the financial and management reporting and strategic plans of the company. Key Responsibilities: · Lead and oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements for the group for reporting and management purposes · Supervise and oversee the preparation of quarterly financial reports for audit committee, board of directors, as well as compliance with listing requirements of Bursa Securities · Manage and oversee the financial budget and business plan for the group and monitor variances and gaps against budget and plan · Implement and oversee the financial management, financial strategy, budgeting and tax planning for the group · Be involved in and manage the overall commercial and financial evaluation/feasibility studies on any material capital expenditure and investment proposals that the group will be undertaking To succeed in this GM - Finance (Property Development) role, you must have at least 20 years of work experience in companies with mid to large market cap. Key Requirements: · Property development experience is an added advantage · Strategic financial management skills in planning, financial reporting, budgeting and monitoring overall finance and IT initiatives · Strong analytical skills in making effective business decisions and judgements · Good business acumen, commercial sense and risk management · Maturity, wisdom and ability to exercise fair judgement in decision making
