Finance Director

Job Description : FINANCE DIRECTOR MALAYSIA An exciting Finance Director (Manufacturing) job has just become available at a global organisation as part of the organisation's expansion agenda. About the Finance Director (Manufacturing) Role: Reporting to the General Manager, you will be leading strategic initiatives with the objective to improve the efficiency of processes, profitability and financial risks. Key Responsibilities: · Lead a team of eight, managing all accounting, finance and costing related activities for the company · Ensure that all financial transactions, operations and activities are handled and processed in line with the approved policies and procedures · Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions · Establish and implement short-range and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures · Prepare monthly cash flow forecast, monitor the actual cash flow against forecast and take the necessary measures to remedy variances · Design, establish, and maintain an organisational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the department's goals and objectives · Provide needed support to the management teams in developing financial and budget policies and procedures To succeed in this Finance Director (Manufacturing) role, you must possess at least 15 years' progressive work experience and deep experience in the manufacturing industry in the areas of controlling, FP&A and costing. Key Requirements: · Bachelor's degree in the relevant field coupled with professional qualifications (ACCA/CPA/MIA/ICAEW) · Substantial experience in manufacturing from any of the various sectors (food, equipment, chemicals) · Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills · Results and business oriented with strategic and operational skills · Strong analytical skills and has excellent communication skills in managing and influencing stakeholders
