Supply Chain Director

Job Description : SUPPLY CHAIN DIRECTOR THAILAND FOR AGRO BUSINESS Reporting directly to the Regional Operation Director, this is a role for a Supply Chain Manager or Director who is expert in agricultural product, has tropical agronomy work experiences with business acumen. About the Supply Chain Director – Agro Business Role: In this business critical role, you will be responsible for end-to-end supply chain operation of agro business and ensure sufficiency of raw material supply. You will also be a representative of company to build up and engage agricultural ecosystem for sustainability plan. The salary range for this role is competitive with provident fund and medical insurance. Key Responsibilities: · Manage end-to-end supply chain operation of agro business · Initiate and plan supply chain strategy to ensure sustainable material supply · Ensure raw material sufficiently supply for production, delivery on time, meet quality and global standard · Conduct strategic procurement and maintain relationship with local and overseas suppliers · Develop and establish relationship with upstream supply chain which is agricultural ecosystem · Lead cost saving project and continuous process improvement of its operation To succeed in the Supply Chain Director – Agro Business job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with other teams, across borders and internal matrix. Key Requirements: · Bachelor's degree or higher in Agricultural Technology/ Science or related field, specialise agricultural program from international college would be preferred · At least 15 years work experience in supply chain management, managerial level in agriculture or food industry · Strong strategic thinking and business acumen · High level of proficiency in English and Thai (listening, reading, writing, speaking) · Proven ability to lead and influence teams of professionals; vendors; clients to achieve cost effective and timely business focused solutions
