Job Description : GM NIGERIA FOR OIL AND GAS Reporting to the RegionalManager, the General Manager will globally be responsible for all of the technical, financial, commercial and administrative related issues in the country. Key accountabilities include: -Developing and executing sales strategies for all products and services, - Developing a key account program and a good commercial awareness of the Oil & Gas market, - Identifying and prospecting new business opportunities, - Managing relationship with existing clients by ensuring compliance of best practice to customer requirements and company standards, - Ensuring market intelligence and customer knowledge are sufficient to meet company targets and forecasts, -Minimizing commercial risk when developing sales contracts, -Managing the local teams in the affiliates and recruiting employees to meet company growth, -Working closely with the Regional Manager to efficiently utilize resources and maximise sales penetration at local level, -Coordinating closely with other company services involved in the development of the business to ensure enterprise success in the country. With a University degree in engineering or in business administration, you have a minimum of 15-years experience in the Oil & Gas industry at general or country management level (drilling, engineering, construction etc...) Dynamic, rigorous, results-oriented with an entrepreneurial spirit, you have the ability to work on your own initiative and are capable of setting up negotiations with leading oil and gas companies. You'll possess fluent verbal and written English language skills. A previous experience in Nigeria is preferred.
