Chief Operating Officer

Job Description : COO VIETNAM Reporting to the BOD of the company, the COO shall responsible to lead all operations of the manufacturing plant of around 1,000 headcounts located around Hanoi area. established foreign invested company in textile industry. Key Responsibilities: · Responsible for management, performance, development and continuous improvement of the manufacturing unit and supply chain infrastructure to ensure availability of product as per market requirement and customer satisfaction · Define and monitor efficiency, effectiveness and success of the operations activities using adequate controlling tools · Design and implement initiatives for improving quality and reliability · Cost Management · Direct / guide & ensure effective management of people to ensure enhancement of leadership skills & development of motivated and performance oriented workforce · Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Management · Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company · Understand the importance of lean manufacturing and cost optimisation through constantly working at improving operational efficiency and maintain low wastage To be successful in this role, you will need to be an experienced Operations Director/ COO or similar positions in textile and related industry. Key Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree or master's degree in a relevant discipline or MBA · Proven experience as COO or in other managerial position · Knowledge about the textile industry · Knowledge of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management, and genera finance and budgeting · Ability to build consensus and relationships among executives, partners, and the workforce · Excellent communication and strong leadership
