Job Description : Manufacturing Execution Systems Engineer (Plastic Industry) ANGOLA Job Description We are looking for someone who is an expert in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Job Profile/Candidate Profile: The candidate should be a qualified Engineer with a minimum of 8+ years overall experience in MES Projects. The job would be mainly responsible for Project Implementation, system monitoring, troubleshooting, problem resolution, development and change management. The candidate must have handled the project for a leading plastics processor/commodity plastics in India. The KPI would be to achieve 95percent data accuracy and consistency by reducing the current cost of people capturing. Once set up, the person would train individuals to monitor as well as work with management to improve the quality and types of data. Our client is using manual methods of data collection from the PLCs of injection moulding machines. The person would be responsible to integrate the machine's PLC with a central server that would capture data such as machine run time, stop time, the number of times stopped, material processed, the number of shots produces, oil levels etc.
