Job Description : GM WEST AFRICA This is a Senior position for a Steel Importing & Distribution Business in a modern & progressive city in West Africa,& the Candidate would report to the Owner. Job involves buying Steel from world suppliers/importing/clearance/Costing/Distribution & all Compliances on Local & Expatriate Employee workforce. Candidate would have to improve existing setup ,as well as ,setup new systems for improving Operational & profit Goals. The Candidate should be a Graduate & MUST HAVE WORKED IN AFRICA, in a business involving imports & Distribution of any Building material products like Steel Long & Flat products & in value added local manufacturing. Experience in steel would be preferable & international Buying of Commodities as an importer would be helpful. He Must have demonstrated skills of Improving the Employing Companies Business scenario on Operational & profit parameters. The job is located in a modern city with International level connectivity & comes with House/Cars/Family package etc with a decent Package, which after sometime would also involve profit sharing etc. The preferred age is below 50 but can discuss exceptional candidates. Work Experience should be between 20 to 25 years.
