Finance Director

Job Description : FINANCE DIRECTOR VIETNAM global leader of agricultural products and food ingredients. Based in Ho Chi Minh, this role will have a unique experience working with high level of management in one of the largest exporter of nuts in Vietnam. About the Finance Director Role: As a Financial Director, you will be responsible for the overall accounting, planning and performance of the business. You will collaboratively support high level of management in Vietnam and across the region to boost engagement and business performance of current products. Key Responsibilities: · Finance & Accounting: Building up the business budgeting and managing cash position and investments, ensuring that the books and records are accurate and compliance with regulations of Vietnamese laws in respect to accounting and financial reporting · Internal Control/Management Report System: Develop management report system; Develop accounting policies and procedures as needed · Income Tax Compliance: To ensure the compliance of the company with appropriate regulations, legislation and accounting standards to ensure the ongoing smooth running of the company; To ensure the compliance of local transfer pricing policies · Resource Management: Allocate resources and responsibilities across team to deliver business results and develop team members; Ensure resource strategy is flexible enough to respond to demand variations · Other finance operations matter: Management Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and Compliance To succeed in this position, you will need to go way beyond the technical competencies related to your finance role – you need to have good people skills, an acute understanding of a company’s business activity and long-term vision. Key Requirements: · Master Degree in Accounting or recognised professional accounting qualification; Chief Accountant Certificate · 15 years’ experience in accounting & finance including at least five years’ experience as FM to manage a team · Manufacturing or FMCG domain experience is preferred · Knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Regulations (Vietnam, German GAAP)) · Strongly confident written and verbal communication in English and interpersonal skills · Excellent time management skills, ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, and work to tight deadlines, strong customer service orientation with high sense of urgency · Driving change (Ownership, Accountability and Proactiveness)
