Job Description : GM UAE Exciting new role with an established global luxury consumer brand who are top 5 in their category, with impressive traction in the region demonstrating expansive opportunity to drive further sales. This is a start-up scenario, setting up the formal business from licensing, distribution, Marketing Agency partnership, hiring entire team and setting up omnichannel, including retail partnerships, e-commerce (direct & channel) and brick & mortar down the line. This person must have experience bringing global/European Luxury brands to the Middle East market across omnichannel. Emphasis on Brand Management. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES · Provide leadership and support to the Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance teams to maximize brand awareness, sales and growth in the region · Define 5-year comprehensive market strategy and implement the cross functional roadmap for the assigned territories in set timelines · Formulate and execute local brand, communication and PR activities in close coordination with HQ guidance and support · Develop and lead the omnichannel strategy with a close focus on Brand Management in Retail, E-comm and Wholesale development · Responsible for the financial performance of the region. Leads and closely monitor turnover and profit targets · Oversee all operational and supply chain processes, make and execute recommendations for smooth and agile operational structures that best support growth in the region · Lead regional forecasting, budgeting and commercial procedures in line with company direction · Ensure retailers’ compliance with Brand standards and policies · Closely monitor market activities, competition, events, retail prices and respond swiftly where necessary · Ensure compliance in all business transaction with local laws and regulations · Weekly business reporting to VP International Sales EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE · Higher Education Degree in Business Administration, management or related field · Successful track record of building and managing premium brands in the Middle-East, executing both tactical and strategic level regional business plans · OmniChannel sales experience combined with deep operational and financial understanding · Strong market knowledge and cultural sensitivity · Experience in premium or luxury segments and high end speciality retail strongly preferred · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Strong business acumen and commercial leadership abilities · Willingness to travel extensively
