20 yearsJob Description : DIRECTOR FINANCIAL REPORTING, PLANNING AND ANALYSIS COMMERCIAL UAE The purpose of this position is to ensure consistency in financial reporting and message of financial information and key performance indicators across the company from board and investor reporting to Executive Management, reporting to cost center level reporting on a monthly basis and to provide effective analytic support to the management and the planning teams for their decision making process. The position scope also includes to manage financial planning, budgeting in order to ensure effective availability of information to facilitate decision making and increase shareholder value and ensure that company financial plans are submitted in alignment with Business Unit owners in high quality for the Exco, IC and Board. Responsibilities: · Responsible for preparing the management account in ERP/Cognos and the maintenance of this · Responsible for the communication/advise in financial reporting across the company from Board, executive management team, CMT and OMT and the definition of this · Responsible for the financial reports and data going into the Exco, Board Deck and Investor relation pack to the market. · Responsible for developing the system supporting the financial reporting like ERP and Cognos. · Cost center reporting of financial performance including revenue, gross margin,OpEx &CapEx · Responsible for encumbrance reporting for budget control purposes. · Develop budgets, rolling forecast and plans, includes analytics and support to set company and business targets · Develop and use budget models (incl. consolidations and associated activities) in order to report and present to management · Supporting and running scenarios/sensitivities for financing requirements and provide recommendations to VP and CFO · Prepare budget and forecast submission to the Investment committee (IC) and Board of Directors (BOD) for their approval · Lead team by implementing good management practices and ensuring continuing development of team members to ensure engagement with special focus on pursuing Emiratisation and national development ambitions · Set annual targets for team members by effective use of EPMS and proper reviews · Ensure effective development and training of subordinates Qualifications: · Minimum 20 years of experience in a Finance role preferably in Telecom industry · Experience in accounting and financial analysis including consolidation · Extensive experience in budgeting/planning/forecasting/financial modelling; · Knowledge of Oracle Financials and BI applications is preferred · Minimum Bachelor degree in finance. MBA, CMA/CIMA, ICA/ACCA or CA/CPA strongly preferred. · Excellent Interpersonal, presentation, professional writing and communication skills · Able to communicate constructively with both top and middle management · Excellent Analytical skills · Respectful of deadlines · Able to handle stress and long working hours · Project, results and quality oriented · Excellent in Excel · Fluent in English (both written and spoken) · Good knowledge of IFRS
