Finance Director 
15 yearsJob Description : FINANCE DIRECTOR BAHRAIN As a part of the Core Leadership Team of the Group, the incumbent would be contributing to the Group Business Strategy, apart from heading the primary day-to-day responsibility of managing the F&A of the Company. Key Activities & The Key Result Areas: Complete ownership of the following responsibilities: 1. Collaborative and strategic partnering with the Leadership Team of the Group, Fellow F&A Leaders, Executive Management of the Company, Divisional Directors and Head of the Corporate Functions, towards managing Business Growth, Risk, Process, Analytics and Reporting effectively. 2. Operations: a. Play an active and leadership role in all financial matters, processes, policies and strategy. Oversee the Pre- and Post- Contract Activities (Financial and Commercial). b. Support the Commercial decision making and negotiations. c. Consistently drive improvement in operating margins, financial performance, business efficiency and productivity of various profit and cost centers. d. Operational due diligence and due diligence of new customers. e. Controlling and monitoring credit risk and project cash flow. f. Improve financial analytics, forecasting and reporting in sync with various Business and Function Heads g. Timely identification addressing of critical Financial, System and Financial operational matters. h. Ensuring Regulatory Compliance and Companys internal policies. 3. Analysis, Assessment & Business Advisory: a. Business Audit, Market Assessment, Capability Assessment and Capacity Projections. b. Structuring & Restructuring of Business Processes. c. Financial Modeling and Re-Modeling of Businesses. d. Undertake strategic operational leadership to facilitate cross-department collaboration, focus and support towards strategic initiatives undertaken. 4. Systems & Processes: a. Leveraging technology, institute top-of-the-line processes to control, manage and drive financial strategy and systems in sync with the Business Plans. b. Institute processes so as to maintain top levels of coordination with other functions and absolute adherence to schedules. c. Institute processes so as to timely identify, notify and bring in corrections in cases of errors and omissions. d. Develop and strengthen business processes ensuring their relevance, efficacy and suitability matching the dynamic and rapidly increasing size and complexity of business operations. e. Consistently identifying and managing Risks and driving Risks Mitigation. f. Process mapping, consistently identifying and prioritizing the Needs, Gaps and Requirements (NGRs). g. Development of SOPs for Critical Processes (e.g. tendering, order creation, invoicing, variations, procurement, supply chain, WIP, Work Orders, Purchase orders, Work Completion, Payments,etc.) h. Consistent improvement in operational efficiencies through operational analysis, business process optimization and process analysis. 5. Advising the Group Management Committee on crucial financial and strategic matters. 6. Management Reports: a. High quality detailed and relevant management reports to understand the instant status and measure divisional performances, monthly MIS and monitoring Financial Performance of Corporate/ Divisional KPIs . b. Improve quality, accuracy, detail and presentation of existing reports and design new Financial reporting formats formats as per the needs. 7. Cash flow Management to meet operational and investment requirements. 8. Leading the Finance & Accounts Teams: a. Aligning the F&A function with Organisations and Groups Vision and Strategic Business Objectives. Create the F&A Organogram so as to set up Charters and Cadres with relevant KRAs. Structure a team with cutting-edge talent bringing forth highest levels of performance and adherence. b. Train, coach and mentor teams to develop capabilities and delivering as per the objectives. c. Develop a culture of Market- and Customer- centricity (Internal as well as External), Transparency and focus on quality of Service Delivery and process improvement. d. Develop a steady pool of F&A talent. 9. Spearhead initiatives for system automation, integration and scale-up. 10. Spearhead Financial Planning, finalization of Divisional Business Plans, Investment (CAPEX), Consolidated Business Plan of the Company, Budgets, Statutory Accounts Reports and Pack Preparation for Board Meetings. 11. Manage Banking and Investment relationships, bank facility planning and forecasting in coordination with Groups Treasury Team. 12. Study and Review Market and complex Financial Data on important indicators, sector niches, trends and opportunities. Advice the Company and the Group Management accordingly. 13. Play active role in M&A due diligence and management/control of subsidiaries post acquisition. 14. Conducting Feasibility Studies. 15. All other activities pertaining to a CFO/ Director Finance. Desired Candidate Profile A versatile Chartered Accountant, currently heading F&A of a reputed Manufacturing/ Engineering Company, with a well rounded experience of around 15 years, preferably having worked on Contracting with multi-country operations. Must have demonstrated dynamism and versatile leadership traits in complex and advanced F&A set up. Must have efficiently managed a multi-culture team of talented F&A experts. Must be well connected and have high maturity levels to represent the Company/ Group at Leadership Levels (internally as well as externally). Must have excellent analytical, communication, presentation and inter-personal skills.
