Finance Controller

Job Description : FC THAILAND A leading global medical devices company is seeking a high-calibre Financial Controller (x1 vacancy) in Bangkok to be a business partner with the business heads and to support the growth plan and business performance for Thailand. About the Financial Controller Role: Reporting directly to the Regional Finance Director, you will be business partnering with the Country Manager and responsible for all finance matters and overseeing and managing all accounting and finance operations. You will be the member of the leadership team to support Thailand's business performance. The package for this role includes base salary + performance bonus + provident fund. Key Responsibilities: · Oversee and manage the accounting and finance operations and financial planning and analysis and commercial business support and lead the monthly and annual closing activities · Act as Business Partner and provide support and advice to management on all financial matters · Ensure adequate internal controls around processes and systems are in place · Ensure all statutory reporting requirements are met i.e statutory audits, tax filing, VAT filing and submission · Develop and manage the financial planning process and formulate long term planning strategies to drive financial performance and sustainability · Monitor and identify risks and opportunities and communicate any causes of unexpected variances · Improve efficiency and productivity by automating, streamlining, and improving reporting, and accounting operations and processes The successful candidate must possess strong communication skills and demonstrate ability to perform under varying business circumstances and adaptability. Key Requirements: · Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent · At least 10 years of finance and accounting experience with MNCs with at least five years of leading and managing Finance team · Health-care, FMCG, pharmaceuticals industry experiences would be preferred · Experience in commercial finance and solid track record of business partnering · Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Hyperion and SAP would be advantageous · Fluent in English and Thai ( preferred) · Demonstrate ability to engage, able to drive, motivate and influence Finance team and stakeholders. Strong sense of urgency and result-orientated · Strong business acumen and sound decision-making qualities
