Job Description : COO SOUTH AFRICA FOR COAL MINE Leading Coal Mine at South Africa Job Profile: · Spearheading complete mine operations with optimal use of Man & Machines through Production planning, Manpower planning & Equipment planning · Regulating the most suitable method of mining coal, taking into account factors including the depth, thickness and other coal characteristics · Developing effective strategies for mining and reviewing the standards used by mining operations for budgeting and business planning processes · Controlling the stockyards & movement of coal for proper blending to the crushers · Setting strategic direction to determine the methods to be used to accomplish the goals of the organization · Supervising the mining engineering function and introducing new methods & procedures to optimize productivity · Drafting plan to track, analyse and improve key maintenance parameters · Administer efficient operation of Heavy Earth Moving Equipment i.e. Excavator Dump Trucks, Drills, Dozers and Graders. · Liasoning & co-ordination with local and Govt. People. · Responsible for mine safety and other statutory provisions. Desired Profile: · Mining Engineer with 15+ years of Coal Mining experience · Should have handled a large team at the helm in coal mining · Should be thorough with complete mine operations · Leads by example and is a good team player who extracts the best out of his team · Good command over written and verbal English communication Compensation: Excellent Salary + Accommodation + All Expat Benefits
