Logistics Manager

Job Description : LOGISTICS MANAGER TANZANIA in a Construction Industry, we are looking for experienced Logistics manager with experience in freight forwarding business. Plan warehouses and distribution centres for efficiency in both operations and capacity. Organise transportation activities, including storage of goods, managing information accrued from point of origin to delivery, orchestrating transportation movements, and arranging for services as necessary. Coordinate and track movement of goods through logistic pathways. Execute logistics plan to move products and packages to reach destinations on schedule. c- Review freight rates and other transportation costs to keep working costs low. Maintains quality throughout the logistic processes. Keeping clients posted on the status of their orders. If delays or unexpected situations arise, logistics clerks will be responsible to provide a heads-up and do what they can to minimize inconvenience. Handling replacements when incorrect goods arrive. Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management or any related field. At least 10 years of experience in similar field. Good experience in bulk shipment over sea and air. Good knowledge of clearance documents. \c-:, Good Communication skills and good experience in Ms Excel. Able to handle logistics operations along Tanzania.
