Mine Engineer

Job Description : MINE ENGINEER DRC for a well-established South African based mining company. About the role: The purpose of this position is to provide Strategic Planning, Operations Management, Strategic Mine Design, Planning and Financial Management, Compliance, Expertise Development & Continuous Improvement, People Management/Development as well as Health & Safety Management on mining activities. Responsibilities: · Produce the annual detailed Life of Mine Budget Schedule (LOM) · Provide data and information to site Management to support plans · Provide LOM month rolling schedules on a three monthly basis to ensure that capital development is sufficiently advanced to meet future production targets. · Maintain and integrate accurate knowledge of latest trends and developments in the industry to offer technical expertise · Trains and develops subordinate engineers and other allied personnel · Run financial analysis on conceptual plans Candidates Requirements: · A minimum of 10 years' experience in production and mine planning · Degree in Mining Engineering · Experienced in Dredge and hydro sluicing, tailings reclamation production, mine engineering and mine planning · Fully proficient in Surpac, MineSched, and Whittle · English speaking with French capability · Previous deployments in DRC
