12 yearsJob Description : GENERAL MANAGER - KSA A leading food manufacturing company is looking for a General Manager to help develop and execute the strategic agenda across the Kingdom. We are looking for a gamechanger who has a relentless mindset on pushing boundaries and maximizing profitability in line with the long-term strategic roadmap. This will require somebody to take accountability for both top and bottom-line growth and has a proven track record of leading a similar business in terms of size and ambition. You will need to enjoy leading a business through positive change and be constantly in the market to really feel the pulse and pivot short to mid-term strategy accordingly. Have you led a food and beverage manufacturing business through significant growth in KSA? Do you have experience leading a business with full accountability for the development and execution of the commercial strategy? Do you have a track record of taking organisations from “good to great”? KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: · Provide the strategic vision, leadership, tactical execution necessary to enhance revenue growth and leverage market opportunities · Actively collaborate and partner with functional and market leadership across the organization · Define the objectives for the BU, aligned with the vision and mission of the business, and oversee the overall sales performance of the business to increase the company's financial performance · Supporting the wider business to identify potential opportunities that can drive revenue growth. Equally, proactively, and consistently cultivating strategic relationships that can help influence company performance · Proactively lead the Demand Planning process to help ensure forecasting is accurate and to ensure trends are constantly being considered to gain competitive advantage, wherever possible · Monitor the commercial performance of the business in correlation with the budget · Constantly evaluate the talent within the business to ensure the right people are in the right positions. Where appropriate, train and develop employees to help them in achieving expectations. When required, and without hesitation, bring in new talent if it will lead to improved performance while maintaining a positive culture within the team · Implement effective RTM models and develop clear measures/expectations for each channel REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: · Bachelor's Degree or MBA in a related discipline · 12+ years of progressive experience in a Sales / Commercial role within the food and beverage manufacturing industry · In-depth MEA experience, with a focus on KSA and/or familiarity with Emerging Markets · Ability to build an effective organizational structure that can navigate through a transformation journey · Must be resilient and lead a business through change · Ability to drive a performance culture while also creating a highly engaged team/culture · Exceptional communication skills - both verbal and written · Collaborative, an open and respectful executive who is perceived as a welcome addition. A natural leader of cross-functional teams.
