Job Description : ACCOUNTS AND FINANCE MANAGER UAE 12-15 years experience Develop and implement controls and financial practice for better effectiveness and efficiency of the department whilst providing accurate and timely advice to the organization for business decisions Roles and Responsibilities · Build and implement robust procedure that records and update cash flow status; apply efficient credit policy to safeguard company interest; provide guidance on credit terms to sales team and review them periodically for suitable revision · Provide financial data for management; advice on new business proposals and participate in management meetings. · Supervise critical functions within the accounts department and monitor compliance with prescribed and accepted accounting principles (IFRS) and company procedures. · Implement efficient control checks on accounts payables intended to minimize errors. Supervise all payments made & ensure AP adhere to company policies and procedures to avoid disputes/fines. · Prepare Annual Budget in consultation with General Manager and present the same to Management, Audit & Group CFO for review & approval. · Prepare financial statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position. Present MIS to the Management. · Ensure cash flow is adequate for smooth functioning of the business; forecast future payments & receivables to arrange adequate funds. · Review, investigate and correct errors and inconsistencies reported in financial entries, documents and reports. Establish & ensure practice of effectual system in reference to collection & compiling of all financial transactions · Preparation of Contribution Statement, Variance analysis, Product Costing, Costing Profit and Loss account and Reconciliation with Financial accounts on a monthly basis · Monitor overall functions of finance. Management of General ledger accounting of the company, approvals and control daily transactions. Ensuring necessary provision required for smooth financial closing. Adept at all necessary work relating to finalization of accounts. · Harmonize and standardize manufacturing cost methodologies across the company · Lead implementation and compliance of companys consolidated manufacturing cost analysis and reporting · Coordinate with Business Group teams to develop cost of goods sold (COGS) KPIs to drive overall operating performance and business insights. · Responsible for Cost Control & implement technique for regular cost reduction in organization. Conduct variance analysis and other projects to identify opportunities for cost savings across the unit. · Participate in monthly financial and operating reviews to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings. · Assist in review of capex investments projects, capex management process, and post-mortem analysis · Preparation of Month on Month movement of Consumption and Cost of Materials by preparing the Trend analysis chart. · Manage internal & external audit proceedings; ensure implementation of remedial measures recommended by Auditors to avoid occurrence of variances in future. · Be part of special assignments delegated as per management discretion. · Adhere to DOA & company policies, legal & quality compliances; follow safety standards. Desired Candidate Profile · Degree in Finance/Commerce with accounting qualifications such as CA/CPA/ICWAI · Should have around 5 years of managerial experience handling overall finance management of a complex manufacturing company - preferably in steel industries. · Strong knowledge of manufacturing costing methods and ERP systems (SAP) · Strong knowledge of financial reporting methods (IFRS, GAAP) · Knowledge of financial and non-financial KPI metrics (ROIC, working capital, productivity, etc.) · Strong business acumen and understanding of strategic planning processes · Knowledge of operations improvement programs ( Lean, Six-Sigma, Continuous Improvement) · Proficient in MS office & ERP Package - SAP experience preferred. · Excellent experience in cost accounting · Leadership and strategic skills. · Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. · Effective interpersonal skills; capable to do presentation for Management Persuasive. · Experience working in corporate environment Perks and Benefits Paid Annual leaves, Bonus, Medical insurance for self up to 3 dependents, Kids Education Support allowance, Air Ticket Allowance
