Job Description : HEAD HSE NIGERIA FOR STERLING OIL Experience in devising significant solutions, managing day-to-day operations , Green Field & and brown-field projects from HSE Perspective Expertise in conducting HSE management audit as well as implementing the Health Safety Environment Management System through evolvement of HSE plans and safe operating procedures for various projects Resourceful in liaising with vendors, clients as well as various other utility agencies for availing mandatory sanctions. Obtaining necessary approvals for the projects / sites / factory To develop and implement HSEF management system to protect employees from workplace HSE risk exposure To provide strong HSE leadership to support organization goals and objectives To develop and implement safety standards across organisation / projects / sites To Strengthen Contractor Safety Management for the site To establishing & defining departmental & organizational goals Desired Candidate Profile Preferably Chemical Engineer from Energy , Oil , Gas , EPC Sector or experience in Manufacturing Set up . Possess a clear understanding of industry, technology trends Experience : Minimum 18 + years in HSE with exposure to all necessary certification process. Well versed with : HSE legislation HSE Strategic Planning HSE Performance Measurement HSE Audit and Inspection HSE Risk Assessment Management Emergency Preparedness and Planning Liaison with Govt. officials Hazardous Waste Management Process Safety Management Perks and Benefits We offer an opportunity for growth .
