Chief Financial Officer 
10 yearsJob Description : CFO CANADA Oil & Gas Services company is the leader in environmental equipment manufacturing and installation. They are currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer based in Calgary, Alberta. The ideal candidate has specific experience with public oil and gas services companies. The position will report to the President/CEO and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company’s financials and operations. The CFO/COO will have a strong finance and operations background with day-to-day responsibility for planning, controlling and managing all financial and critical operational activities of the company. Experience in acquisitions, system evaluation and integration, and deal structuring would be an asset. Responsibilities · Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives · Maintains market awareness of industry trends, opportunities and turns · Drives operational accuracy, efficiency and scalability through systems and process enhancements and IT infrastructure · Ensures timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts · Develops budgets for new business growth and strategy · Prepares and presents financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial documentation · Provides executive management with recommendations on the financial implications of business operations and activities · Works with corporate consul on M&A, financing and structuring documents · Interface with auditors and tax advisors to advance company goals and objectives · Establish and implement short and long-term business goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures · Provide oversight and lead, coach, mentor and evaluate finance and administration team · Actively participate in setting, implementing and measuring strategic objectives at the executive level Qualifications · BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA, MFA and/or CPA highly desirable · 10 years of successful experience as a senior level executive · 10+ years in a progressively responsible financial and operational leadership role, in the energy sector · Significant breadth of executive accounting experience including auditing, budgeting, financial planning and analysis · Strong knowledge and capability with complex, multi-company financial consolidation · Ability to lead and motivate teams to produce quality results within tight timeframes · Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and work independently · Must enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
