Profit Centre Head

Job Description : PROFIT CENTRE HEAD NIGERIA FOR ALUMINIUM EXTRUSION Production and Manufacturing: - Will be responsible for Large Aluminum Extrusion manufacturing plant having 4 Extrusion Presses / 4 Powder coating Plants and Anodizing Plant. Ensure proper Execution & Co-ordination between Production, Engineering, quality and other service functions to optimize installed capacities. Must have an industrial Floor level background up to the level of Unit Head. Industrial Relations: Ensure implementation of legal provisions and maintain harmonious relation with workmen of the unit. Introduce formal systems of Grievance Handling and lay down procedure with the intent of ensuring appropriate level to motivation, optimizing of manpower and machine is key areas. Raw material planning and implementation of procedures for material flows. Ensuring internal systems for control of materials flow input, process and output to ensure optimum use of raw material. Inventory control and availability of Imported material. Working knowledge of product costing and Process Costing. ERP System: Working experience with ERP system preferably SAP. Sales, Distribution and Customer Relation: Manage a chain of Distributers and Institutional Clients. The Competition is from local production units in Nigeria as well as Imports from CHINA. Candidate Preference Having minimum 25 / 30 years of experience in factories/ Units producing Aluminum Extrusion/Finishing. Very strong floor level engineering background, must have handled the Extrusion or Rolling Mill maintenance function during his career. Not less than 5 years’ experience as the Head of Manufacturing Unit looking after general administration, Sales etc is preferred. Systems driven approach and try to establish systems and procedures in the plant, Material Planning and Controls in factory. Work experience in Middle East or other African Countries will be an advantage.
