15 yearsJob Description : CLUSTER FINANCE DIRECTOR QATAR The Cluster Finance Director is responsible for the efforts, results, and success of an organization's finance department. Provides financial advice and support to help senior executives make key decisions. This position manages financial sustainability, driving financial performance & maximizing return on investment. Provides effective professional leadership, and ensures the establishment and implementation of sound financial management, accounting, and internal control systems and processes, for the organization, in compliance with relevant legislative requirements Job Responsibilities 1 Principal Accountabilities · Internal controls and process improvement · Strategic financial decisions on capital structure in coordination with BoD. · Financial planning · Financial reporting and financial statements analysis under IFRS · Accounting related budgetary controls · Overall review of accounting transactions and payment proposals Job Responsibilities 2 1. Oversees long-term budgetary planning, forecasting and cost management in alignment with the organization operating companies' strategic plan 2. Leads the continual refinement of smarter information systems, provision of centralized information, increased financial and operational KPI information and trend analysis and benchmarking of organizations performance against agreed measures. 3. Develop and implement a programme of enhancing core business management processes 4. Establish and maintain effective and consistent financial management systems, policies, standards and reporting requirements. 5. Produce and analyze the required suite of financial reports and providing commentary on same, identifying and acting on key findings. 6. Provides specific strategic financial advice and analysis to organization's operating companies in relation to proposed programme, projects and initiatives, particularly in relation to financial risks and implications and commercial considerations. 7. Manages risk framework, including all aspects of legal compliance, and strategic and operational risk identification and monitoring. 8. Cascade organization financial strategies into an effective business plan and ensures maximum alignment between organizational objectives and operating companies activities. 9. Ensure that all of the company's financial practices are in line in statutory regulations and legislation 10. Analyse the financial climate and market trends to assist senior executives in creating strategic plans for the future 11. Interpret complex financial information and provide updates and information as needed 12. Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions 13. Review and present official reports on a monthly and annual basis 14. Create and maintain relationships with service providers and contractors, including banking institutions and accountants 15. Ensure compliance with company policy, procedures and applicable regulations. 16. Provides coaching and mentoring and conduct evaluations to direct reports to ensure alignment of competencies and achievement of business objectives. Due to growth within the Middle East, they have an exciting opening for an MEP General Manager to manage their highly successful Engineering and Construction division. Reporting to the COO, the successful General Manager shall manage the entire division for both Supply and installation currently generating multi million $ revenues with a total staff strength of over 400. The ideal candidate will be responsible for successfully delivering the following: • Supervising Project Managers of MEP projects, Cold Rooms and AC Projects (AC ,ducted splits, package units, VRF systems, and Chillers). • Actively involved in Tendering / Estimation / Negotiations for successfully generating MEP / HVAC contracts • Ownership for growth, achieving sales plans through proper pricing, customer satisfaction and implementation of business plans • Provide leadership to the functions of sales, projects and service • Excellent PR activities are required to acquire new projects through technical and business insight. • Understanding market strategies, competitors, in-depth understanding of local market, main contractors and consultancy firms and a who's who outlook is a strategic factor to achieve targets. • Lead the Annual Budgeting exercise and in ensuring that the numbers committed are met by the team. • Coordinates resources to appropriately balance strategic objectives with financial return (profit) and efficient use of financial assets (including working capital). • Accountability for the financial and operational performance, contractual compliance, management & leadership of management staff and associated employees, maintenance of client relationships, and support for the development of new clients and solutions.
