Job Description : PROJECT DIRECTOR BURKINA FASO an emerging Toronto-based energy company for a strong construction and project management specialist to join their rapidly developing uranium project in Burkina Faso. This will be our client's top project leadership role, with the possibility to move into the President's seat. Requirements · perfect French/English bilingualism. · Depth of expertise in managing the construction of underground mining projects in West Africa, its legal and cultural requirements/challenges. · Experience in all project stages, from detailed engineering through commissioning and ramp up. with a specific focus on processing mills/plants. · Experience in design and construction methods common to engineering works, including civil, structural, mechanical and electrical works · Excellent communication, negotiation and problem solving skills. · Ability to liaise effectively between local and corporate teams and to deal with complex problems. · Results-oriented and able to prioritize and focus on the key deliverables. · Ability to interact with all stakeholders with transparency, tact and diplomacy. · Demonstrated ability to execute plans and schedules on time and on budget. · Strong team building and people management skills.
