Regional Supply Planner

Job Description : REGIONAL SUPPLY PLANNER SINGAPORE for a leading food distribution MNC based in Singapore. About the Regional Supply Planner Role: You will be reporting to the Supply Planning Manager and working closely with operations and commercial teams across the organisation. Key Responsibilities: · Manage the planning and execution of product supply for the business and third-party facilities · Communicate any supply gaps to customer service/customers · Raise all supplier POs · Issue detailed plans to suppliers and the business operations · Appropriately manage and ensure adherence to the agreed supply schedule · Work with suppliers and key stakeholders to resolve issues that may impact the production schedule · Engage in NPD projects to effectively manage stock changeover or run in/outs · Create, maintain and develop the reports required for the monthly S&OP cycle · Delivery of short to medium-term plans as part of the monthly S&OP cycle that effectively balance customer service, production efficiency and inventory · Report through any risks and ops to S&OP team in HQ · In conjunction with suppliers, manage packaging stocks to minimise obsolescence · Issue suppliers with short to medium-term forecasts · Monitor and report on supplier packaging and raw material stock holdings · Build and maintain accurate tools and reports for production and supply planning · Implement supplier performance tracking · Ensure SAP is fully utilised and properly maintained To be successful in this role, you will need strong end-to-end knowledge of production planning, purchasing and dispatch of internationally traded commodity supply to new and existing markets with any experience working within food production/distribution being desirable. Key Requirements: · Degree qualified in logistics/supply chain or similar · Supply chain qualifications/professional certifications such as APICS · Substantial experience in production planning and supply planning roles, preferably in a complex FMCG or manufacturing environment working across multiple geographies · Supplier management experience · Excellent system/Excel skills · Analytical · Excellent communication skills · Proven at working successfully cross functionally and good influencing skills · Cultural intelligence and adaptability · SAP expertise
