Finance Controller

Job Description : FC INDONESIA at an established logistics and distribution company based in Jakarta. About the Financial Controller Role: This position will be a critical role as you will be responsible for accounting, statutory reporting, financial operations, business planning and taxation reporting to the regional CFO. Based in Jakarta, this is a great opportunity to lead the finance team of an establish multinational company. Key Responsibilities: · Manage the key accounting functions of the company including but not limited to AR, AP, month-end closing and reporting and balance sheet reconciliation and implementation of accounting policies · Maintain accounting systems which comply with generally accepted accounting principles, tax, and management reporting requirements · Consistently challenge the efficiency of the accounting operation to meet statutory and IFRS requirements · Develop and document accounting processes to form a solid and effective accounting platform · Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings · Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within the timeframe · Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns · Identify and mitigate tax risks · Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices · Manage and coordinate tax audits and tax planning · Support the Country Head of Finance and Group Corporate Finance in understanding, streamlining and documentation of business processes · Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard the company’s resources in accordance with company policies · Collaborate with corporate finance to develop best practice treasury and cash management processes to improve the liquidity of the group To be successful in the Financial Controller Role, you will need to have more than 8 - 10 years of relevant experience in similar industry. You will also need strong communication, analytical, creative thinking, and leadership skills. Key Requirements: · Accounting graduate, experience working in Big 4 accounting firm is a plus · Minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience · CA/CPA is preferred · Years of post-qualification experience of which at least two were in a financial controller or finance manager capacity in a multinational company · Good command of English (writing and speaking) · Sound thinking logic and solutions-oriented · Strong leadership and teamwork with high commitment to deliver
