Job Description : Vice President -Manufacturing Operations -Gujarat Responsibilities: Operations Management Implement Manufacturing Strategy & Strategic/Operational Goals to Exceed Customer Expectations for Product Quality, Cost & Delivery. This Role Encompasses Complete Overall Responsibility of Managing the Operations, & Inspire & lead Cross functional Teams Operation Excellence & Leadership Development Provide Clear leadership & Vision, Inspire & Motivate Staff to Achieve Excellence & Mentor them to Develop New Skills. Responsible for Developing the Appropriate Organization Structure, Resource Plans & Build Culture to Support the Business Objectives. Drive KPI’s Across all Areas of the Manufacturing Function to Ensure that All Projects are Delivered on Cost & On Time to the Highest Quality Standards. Direct & Drive Implement Lean Strategy & Drive Continuous Improvement Across the Manufacturing Maximizing Efficiency, Optimizing Production levels & Driving Operational Excellence. Introduce World Class Manufacturing Practices to Improve Product Quality & Process Improvements Cost, Productivity & Profitability Ensure Identification of Improvement Opportunities. Plan & Implement the Approved Plans. Compare with Benchmarks & Introduce Best Manufacturing Practices Review Costs of Conversion & enable the Team to Identify Counter Measures & follow up on Implementation of the Same. Review the Activities of Utilities, Engineering & all Non-Manufacturing Teams to Support the Manufacturing Teams in Delivering Trouble free Services Plan, Review & Guide the Manufacturing Teams & Utilities on Cost Optimization . Initiate Continuous Measures on Cost Optimization Improvement in Both White & Blue-Collar Productivity. . Guide implementation of People Development Programmes. People Development To Coach, Mentor & Develop Direct Reports & Manage a High Performing Team that Delivers Continuous Improvement Improve the Morale of the Employees to get the Optimum Performance. Work for Growth Opportunities for the Team members Statutory Compliances Ensure Systems & Processes for Compliance to Statutory Regulations. Review & Monitor Deviations from laws, Rules & Established Practices. Ensure Compliance of All Legal Requirements. Safety, Health & Environment Ensure Health, Safety & Environmental issues are Prioritized & Facilitated. Effective Plans to Aim at ZERO Injury through Review of Plans & Employee Participation in Safety Drive Review Environmental Strategies that Impact on Future Ways of Operating & ensure Implementation Review the Use of Technological Systems that Support Environmentally friendly Approach Qualification & Experience BE Chemical with About 25 years of Exp. in Managing Operations of a Large Chemical Organisation of Batch/Continuous Process Good Leadership Capabilities , Communication &Team Building Skills
